High-stakes 2026 Formula 1 season finale returns to Yas Island
ABU DHABI – Ethara, organiser of the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, has announced that global rock band Imagine Dragons will headline the Saturday After-Race Concerts at the 2026 season finale in Abu Dhabi.
The announcement adds further momentum to the Yasalam presented by e& entertainment programme, a defining feature of the championship’s closing weekend on Yas Island.
The band joins previously confirmed acts Lewis Capaldi and Zara Larsson, who are set to open the music series on Thursday, 3 December. The 18th edition of the event will take place from 3 to 6 December 2026, with tickets available via abudhabigp.com.
Concert line-up
Imagine Dragons, known for their catalogue of global chart-topping hits, are set to bring their signature stadium-scale performances to Yas Island. The band has built a reputation for high-energy live shows that have sold out arenas across multiple continents, reinforcing their status as one of the most recognisable acts in contemporary music. The Yasalam presented by e& series will once again feature four nights of After-Race Concerts and official after-parties across Yas Island, running alongside the Formula 1 finale. Lewis Capaldi and Zara Larsson will launch the entertainment programme, setting the stage for a weekend of headline performances. The announcement comes after the dramatic 2025 season finale, which featured a historic three-way championship showdown, raising anticipation for another high-stakes title-deciding race in 2026.
Since its debut in 2009, the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix has grown into a standout fixture on the global motorsport calendar.
